Cycling in and around Ironbridge

Cycling enthusiasts of all abilities find the Ironbridge Gorge a fascinating area to explore. Enjoy traffic free rides and gradients of less than 2%

Telford Town Park is a fantastic place for cycling, from a gentle ride around some of it's hidden tracks to exploring further a field.

Enjoy the park, quite lanes and cycle tracks and travel down the Silkin Way to the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site in less than half an hour. Most of the Ironbridge Gorge museums are in easy reach of the cycle track network and have cycle parking.

From the park on National Cycle Route 55, you have access to nearly 35 miles of traffic-free cycling (on old railways lines so never steep). This includes the riverside ride to Bridgnorth which is completely traffic free and best on an autumn day as the colours are stunning.

The Tandem Experience are dedicated to tandem cycles and tandem bicycling, offering tandem hire, training and bike tours.

Bicycles By Design hand-build their own steel, aluminium and carbon fibre tandem frames.
